Specimen received in formalin fixative (10 %NBF preferred) or paraffin embedded specimen
All jars, blocks and slides must have two (2) identifiers clearly written and matching exactly with the specimen identifiers and specimen labeling on the accompanying requisition
Ambient, refrigerated. Use cold pack for transport if necessary.
Cold pack shouldn’t come in direct contact with specimen.
