Financial Turnaround and Mergers/Acquistions

Mr. Shaw has more than 13 years of experience in healthcare finance and operations. He joined CBLPath in 2009 as Director of Business Information and  was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2018. During his tenure with the company, he has been instrumental in driving enhanced financial reporting and analysis, the budget process and cost savings initiatives. He advocated for, designed and implemented operational/financial metrics, benchmarking and dashboarding, database warehousing and business intelligence across all facets of the organization. He also played a key role in maximizing shareholder value in the 2010 sale of CBLPath to Sonic Healthcare. Prior to joining CBLPath, he was an investment banker with merger and acquisition advisory firms B.C. Ziegler, and Berkery, Noyes & Co., where he worked on over 40 transactions representing a value of over $500 million. Tom has over a decade of experience in serving as advisor to numerous CEOs, CFOs and COOs across markets that included healthcare service, laboratory service, radiation oncology, payors, senior care IT, pharmacy benefit management, and medical education, conferences and publishing. During that time, he assisted his clients with business acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, management buyouts, and financing transactions for senior debt, subordinated debt and equity. Mr. Shaw holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers, The State University, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College.
