Dr Vito A. Santarsieri

Dr. Vito A. Santarsieri, is a Breast Pathologist at CBLPath, Inc. He has a medical speciality board certification as Diplomat, American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology. He received his M.D. from University of La Sapienza in Rome, Italy. He completed his residency as an Anatomic Pathology Resident and then as Chief Resident Pathology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. He then went on to a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and then a Cytopathology Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Sanatarsieri began his career as Assistant Attending Pathologist at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and went on to serve as a Staff Pathologist and Medical Director at Dianon Systems, Inc. and Bostwick Laboratories. Prior to his role at CBLPath, Dr. Sanatarsieri served as the Director of Gastrointestinal Pathology at P4 Diagnostix.
Dr. Sanatarsieri has previously been a member of the Nassau County Society of Pathologists, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Alumni Society, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. He has co-authored several articles for a variety of peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Santarsieri has over 35 years of experience and with his extensive knowledge and training, specializes in cytopathology, gastrointestinal & hepatobiliary pathology, and anatomic pathology.
