CBLPath's Podiatric Pathology Department is staffed by 13 board certified pathologists and cytopathologists (including Dr. Carlos Urmacher and Dr. Muhammad Zaman) specializing in podiatric pathology with the training, expertise and experience to ensure the most accurate diagnoses. Our pathologists are not only today’s leaders but also tomorrow's pioneers. We have worked hard to take the industry lead. We will work even harder to maintain it.

Bryan Ebert, M.D.

Director of Podiatric Pathology
Dr. Bryan Ebert is board certified in anatomic pathology and dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology. He received his B.S. degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and his M.D. degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Dr. Ebert completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in dermatopathology at The Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology – SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he studied under directors Dr. Geoffrey Gottlieb and Dr. Edward Heilman as well as Director Emeritus Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman. Dr. Ebert is a member of the College of American Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
