CBLPath Announces Laboratory Contract with Cigna

RYE BROOK, N.Y. — CBLPath has entered into a laboratory provider agreement with Cigna Health Corporation and its affiliates, effective February 15, 2012. This agreement will benefit CBLPath’s physician clients and patients.

• Physician clients will be recognized as a Cigna preferred provider. This status enables ease for filing claims and billing, allowing clinicians to focus on providing the highest quality care to their patients.
• Patients will realize the benefit of their provider being in-network including lower out-of-pocket costs and ease-of-billing. The focus is on their health.

The contract covers all Cigna managed care products in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
