Joseph Sinicropi Joins CBLPath as Chief Operating Officer

RYE BROOK, N.Y. — Joseph Sinicropi has joined CBLPath, a leading anatomic pathology and molecular diagnostics laboratory, in the role of Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Sinicropi spent the prior six months as a consultant to the company. As COO, he is responsible for overseeing the Laboratory Operations, Finance, Billing and Human Resources departments.

“Joe brings more than 24 years of exceptional financial and operating experience to our company, having served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for several large organizations in a variety of industries,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer William W. Curtis. “His expertise will be a significant asset as we continue to expand our business.”

Prior to joining CBLPath Mr. Sinicropi was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Del Laboratories, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of cosmetics and over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals with leading brands such as Sally Hansen and Orajel.

Mr. Sinicropi’s previous professional experience includes positions as Chief Financial Officer of IdeaSphere, Inc., a top provider of natural and organic supplements, and Chief Financial Officer of SI Corporation, an international marketer and manufacturer of polypropylene fabrics and fibers. IdeaSphere acquired Twin Laboratories Inc., where Sinicropi was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, he served for 10 years with the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Mr. Sinicropi is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an M.B.A. in Accounting from St. John’s University and a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University.
