Accuracy is our most important product. Our commitment to quality starts with our team of specialty-trained breast pathologists and cytopathologists, but it does not end there. All cancerous and significant diagnoses are reviewed daily in consensus conferences comprised of two or more of these sub-specialized pathologists. If a consensual diagnosis is not achieved, the case is referred to a nationally recognized pathology expert who specializes in breast disease, prior to rendering a final diagnosis.
As an additional control measure, 10% of all benign diagnoses are also reviewed in conference. Every case is a life, and every life deserves the absolute best we can offer.
